Up for auction is a Rawcliffe Pewter & Stone Chess set. The set comes in a hard shell briefcase with snap locks and individual cut outs in foam for the pieces. Stone board and each pewter piece has a diamond like stone ( not real diamonds of course) . The king of the black side stone is loose and not attached. All the others are intact. I believe the black pieces were painted because some of the black paint is starting to wear off and the more frequently used pieces (see pictures).
